As a result of wholesale redevelopment of the inner harbour of Port Adelaide significant changes to the built environment and its heritage are occurring.
The team has been engaged to develop and record a comprehensive understanding of the historical, working port‚ through the tangible and intangible elements, and subsequently identifying how these elements can be effectively incorporated into the redevelopment.
This is the first stage of an on-going research project that uses a range of approaches from photographs, filmed interviews, archaeology and detailed drawings to the collection of artefacts.
